the day after my birthday, i went for one of the prettiest snowshoes ever. the world glistened and sparkled and i tried my best to enjoy myself. part of me keeps asking what i've done to deserve the blessings i've received. the rest of me is telling that part to shut up and savor it while it lasts.

Mamiya 645 HP5+ (160 ASA) developed in Rodinal. Fomatone in Moersch SE5 and Omega. Perhaps a bit overexposed, but I like the colour.
Mamiya 645 Pro, 150mm lens with orange filter. HP5+ developed in Pyrocat-HD and printed on Ilford Classic in Compard WA.
We've all seen this lady and her van on Southfield, just south of 12 mile
Had camera. Had film.
I had to stop and ask for a picture. I think she was even happier to have someone to talk to. Having two kids of my own, she was happy to hear about them. I thanked her for allowing me to photograph her praying and wished her well on her quest.
A very friendly and beautiful woman.
