I get little time to work on my computer and when I do it's precious... like, during nursery or naptimes, and all too soon it's over and I'm back to getting snacks, wiping bottoms or playing... so I make sure I know exactly what I'm going to achieve before I sit down on my computer and I do all my planning and brainstorming on paper BEFORE I open the laptop. If you want to get good at batch creating anything or just being productive you really need to get comfortable with being 'good enough' - NOT perfect! Otherwise you'll never achieve anything. Practice and hone the skill of recognising when something is 'good enough' and then MOVE ON. This image? Not perfect - good enough. My blogs? Not perfect - good enough. My course launch? Not perfect - good enough! Typos in your email? Not perfect - good enough. It's easy to be critical but a million times harder to create something original. One of the best #productivity tips ever! Especially when you have very little time to actually sit down and create. You can brainstorm and plan what you'll do on paper the rest of the day in spare moments - and when you sit down at that laptop, you'll know EXACTLY what you're going to get done and you'll focus on that completely until it's done. DON'T waste your precious work time deciding what to do... before you know it half an hour can be gone. Just get to work and create something. Go for it!
