Glitch Textiles is operating 15 honeypot servers worldwide, capturing malware in the wild to bring you this new collection. Each design renders the DNA of malicious software—computer viruses, Trojans, and worms—into woven soft wares.
Honeypots are tools used by security researchers to make a server appear vulnerable to attack. By capturing an attacker’s interaction, operators of honeypots can profile techniques, tools, and methods used as well as collect the malware uploaded.
We’re using these tools to bring you a unique experience and perspective on one of the many hazards of life on the Internet.

A light mist rises off of Silver Lake (on the June Lake Loop) early this morning. Lots going on these days, like some malware croaking my notebook computer that brought with it all the backup and saving/salvaging of files...finishing the closing of mom's estate where there was a small gift of funds left over that made the way for the purchase of a new 5D Mark II. Mom was on me for a while to upgrade but I put it off...now it's happened and this was my first composition. Thanx mom, I know you would be pleased.
Early launch to get 220 miles up the road for first light and I knew instantly that the 5D was an alien in my hands...it will take time to learn the feel of the new buttons and the menus. We found this part of the Sierra's still a bit early for full color, maybe by next Saturday we try the run again.
