French Monaco "Monte Carlo"
** Fontvieille is the newest of the four traditional quarters (districts) in the principality of Monaco, and one of ten Wards for modern administrative purposes. Located in the western part of Monaco its construction was started in the 1970s following the project of the Italian architect Manfredi Nicoletti. New plans exist to extend Fontvieille, due to Monaco's growing economy and population.

* OSMANELİ İstanbul-Bağdat-Mekke yolu üzerinde bulunmaktadır. Avrupa'dan Anadolu'ya, Anadolu'dan Avrupa'ya giden kavimler,ordular ve aşiretler buralardan geçmişlerdir. Etiler, İyonlar, Yunanlılar, Traklar, Romalılar, Bizanslılar, Selçuklular ve Osmanlılara ait tarihi kalıntılar bulunması; OSMANELİ nin çok eskiden beri yerleşim yeri olduğunu göstermektedir.
Geçmişi M.Ö. 1000 (Trak mezarı kalıntısı)kadar uzanan 1308 yılında Osmanlı topraklarına katılmış bir Anadolu ilçesidir. Doğsıyla ve tarihi ile bu günümüze kadar uzunan saklı bir ilçemizdir, Osmaneli.

In the west part of Osmaneli are the well-preserved ruins of a large Rum (Anatolian Greek) Orthodox church of 1890's not far from it, a building that was used as a silk-spinning mill, and also the owner's house. There are several Ottoman style homes available and watermelon festival each year being celebrated, which is also worth seeing.

Osmaneli building in the town center, eastern and western art is the work of a three-aisled cruciform domed basilica structure. The middle of the cupola and roof were destroyed. ** The fountain at Place Albertas was constructed during the 19th century. In 1912, cracks in the stone made it necessary to replace it. It was reworked identically, but with a fountain basin made by students of the Aix School of Arts and Crafts.

** Tower Bridge (built 1886–1894) is a combined bascule and suspension bridge in London which crosses the River Thames. It is close to the Tower of London, from which it takes its name, and has become an iconic symbol of London.
The bridge consists of two towers tied together at the upper level by means of two horizontal walkways, designed to withstand the horizontal forces exerted by the suspended sections of the bridge on the landward sides of the towers. The vertical component of the forces in the suspended sections and the vertical reactions of the two walkways are carried by the two robust towers. The bascule pivots and operating machinery are housed in the base of each tower. The bridge's present colour scheme dates from 1977, when it was painted red, white and blue for Queen Elizabeth II's silver jubilee. Originally it was painted a mid greenish-blue colour.

The Berlin Victory Column, inaugurated in September 1873 ...
Berlin's Tiergarten is home to many sculptures, most of them depicting Prussian generals; the most famous and prominent attraction is the Victory Column (Siegessäule) in the midst of the park.
The slender 230 feet high monument commemorates Prussia’s victory over France in 1871. The column is topped by the golden statue of goddess Victoria, fondly called Goldelse "Golden Elsi" by the locals.
The golden statue played a supporting role in the fantastic film "Wings of Desire" by German director Wim Wenders.
There is an open-air viewing platform right below the giant goddess, but you'll have to climb 285 steep stairs to get there ...

East London Mosque "London Muslim Centre"
** The East London Mosque Trust has rich a history spanning over 100 years. It is London's oldest Mosque in the heart of the East End.
In 1910 some notable Muslim figures decided to build a mosque in London and established the 'London Mosque Fund'. Initially, a small room was hired for Friday prayers. However, in 1926 the Fund had grown to a sizeable amount and a 'Deed of Declaration of Trust' was made.
In 1940 three houses were purchased in Commercial Road, London E1 and converted into a Mosque. It was opened on Friday 1 August 1941; Lt. Col. Sir Hussain Suhrawardy, Chairman of the Executive Committee of the London Mosque Fund, welcomed worshippers into the newly established East London Mosque and Islamic Cultural Centre. The first prayer was led by the then Ambassador for Saudi Arabia, His Excellency Shaikh Hafiz Wahab.
