Reflection yang sempurna di Tasik Huffaz pada malam tu dan diserikan dengan kemunculan bulan purnama buatkan saya berasa teruja yang amat sangat untuk terus mempotretkan Masjid DQ biar pun telah banyak kali ia menjadi subjek lensa saya dan telah banyak kali juga saya kongsikan untuk tatapan anda semua.
Cerita tentang REFLECTION ni, pernah saya mendengar 'khabar angin' yang mengatakan saya kononnya menggunakan teknik flip image dalam Photoshop untuk hasilkan imej reflection Masjid DQ dalam hasil fotografi saya, saya tersenyum aja bila tahu macam tu, tak sangka masih ada yang berakal melulu dalam memberikan komentar yang secara tak langsung mendedahkan kelemahan diri sendiri ;) Tapi begitulah adat resam manusia; ada yang tak sedar bahawa dia sebenarnya tak sedar akan kelemahan diri sendiri, tetapi asyik mendabik dada bahawa dialah yang terbaik! Jangan kita lupa sahabat, semua ilmu yang kita ada datangnya dari Dia, usahlah terlalu sombong dengan sekelumit ilmu yang kita ada ni.

This is one of the most photographed trees in the country. You can see the attraction with the alignment of the channels in the limestone pavement leading the eye to the tree. I have never actually shot it myself so when I was in the area I thought I may as well go. It ended up being cut short as I had a problem with my tripod clamp and my back so I had to leave early.

Melted wax (Javanese: malam) is applied to cloth before being dipped in dye. It is common for people to use a mixture of beeswax and paraffin wax. The beeswax will hold to the fabric and the paraffin wax will allow cracking, which is a characteristic of batik. Wherever the wax has seeped through the fabric, the dye will not penetrate. Sometimes several colours are used, with a series of dyeing, drying and waxing steps.
Thin wax lines are made with a canting, a wooden handled tool with a tiny metal cup with a tiny spout, out of which the wax seeps. After the last dyeing, the fabric is hung up to dry. Then it is dipped in a solvent to dissolve the wax, or ironed between paper towels or newspapers to absorb the wax and reveal the deep rich colors and the fine crinkle lines that give batik its character.
