“People thought they wouldn’t be able to stimulate their children themselves, because they don’t have really colourful toys. So we made a rattle, a small car and a puzzle using a cheap pair of flip-flops. The refugees learnt how to be creative,” explains Hans Maesen, a physiotherapist.

This was the Santa's workshop display. This part of the museum was really crowded because in this same room kids could get their photos taken with Santa.
