CSX B731 brings it’s cars into Nevins Yard.

Hair: No.07

Pants & Shirt: Graves

Boots: Tonktastic

Skin: Not for sale

Accessories: I don't remember

Thong: Vitamen

Trying to do the memory game of where I got this stuff dropped the fun level of making outfits down to zero.

Called well before the train had arrived at Chattanooga, Tennessee, the W&A crew for CSX B647-28 was flying all the way south. Making the run in near record time for a non-OCS move they were through Cartersville barely more than 3 hours out of Chattanooga.

Leading the train is CP ES44AC no. 8781 painted in the freight colors of shipping company Hapag Lloyd, with whom Canadian Pacific does a large amount of business.

A productive afternoon making art together at Pataphysical Studios.

Doctors Canard and Rindbrain completed an illuminated painting that is constantly changing, as the light box around it cycles through the colors of the rainbow. This creates an ethereal experience, as the brush strokes quietly shimmer and transform, to the sound of Brian Eno’s Music for Airports (see video: vimeo.com/151282015 ). Nicely done, doctors!

Our visitors this week were Michael Easton and his son Kyan, who seemed to enjoy themselves. A friend of Dr. Figurine’s, Michael is quite an accomplished artist, inventor and engineer and showed us some of his cool creations, including magical mushroom lights inspired by this video: www.youtube.com/watch?v=D5LjGFkpApw

Doctor Fabio showed a Chinese New Year wonderbox prototype he is building for his upcoming maker workshops (bit.ly/wonderbox-overview ). Doctors Really and Igor worked on bringing sound to more wonderboxes. Dr. Rindbrain showed his new Universe cards about Mamie. Dr. Figurine worked on a Neopixel badge for her lab coat. Doctor Zboon showed some of his new pataphysical talismans. A fine time was had by all.

An eastbound train climbs the grade between Morton and Franklin, MN. The tracks wander back into the trees as they make their way out of the Minnesota River valley. This means you can't really see trains from the road. One exception is this swath that was cut through the trees a while back when that concrete culvert was installed.

Recent piece for the Fangamer versus Attract Mode show (www.facebook.com/events/480675458609946/)

Edward (the Vicar) and I had eventually chatted for over 30 minutes and I had laid my cards on the table. I told him how I had yearned to be a Lady since I was a very young boy and how as I had grown older, the desire had grown and grown until I had finally plucked up the courage to attend today’s event. He explained that as far as he was concerned he was pleased that I had the decided that I should be who I always wanted to be. He told me that he would talk to some of the members of the WI and ask them to welcome me.

Just like Edward had been surprised to see the new me, so were the WI ladies. They approached me cautiously but one of them finally plucked up the courage to speak. “I love your outfit” she said as she turned and beckoned for the other Ladies to join her.

In no time at all we were making polite conversation and there was no awkward questions about why I had decided to become Regina?

The reflection of sun off snow quite literally hurt my eyes, so I did not spend a lot of time in Yokote before hopping on the Ou Line.

This past weekend was absolutely gorgeous in Washington. Sunny and 65+ degrees, I actually got to play in my kickball league in short sleeves for the first time of the year. Took a jaunt up to the Newhalem area to scout out some waterfalls on Tuesday and while I stopped to take measurement readings on Newhalem Falls, I couldn't resist snapping a few shots off because of how the sun was illuminating the Skagit River.

Newhalem Falls is usually well shaded because of the steep north facing mountain it drains from, but there seem to be a few sun spots on the cliff whenever the sky is cloudless, so it makes getting a real good shot tough. Working around sunlight is generally not an easy task when shooting waterfalls because streams usually allow openings in the forest canopy. This shot is a good example of one of the "making lemonade" (IE working in less than optimal conditions) techniques I'll be discussing in my Waterfall Photography Workshops that begin next month.

Joy: She looks like a very nice lady.

Verne: Yes she does. I am sure I will have a good time with Paula.

Joy: How do you feel about Traveling?

Verne: I like it. I have adventurous feet. But when it is time to settle down I will like that also.

Me: One of the many things about Blythe Con was meeting Paula. She is sweet and happy and was very patient when we met her. We were late getting to her and then I was moving very slow.

Joy: Well at least you went to a bakery.

Verne: Nothing like a bakery for making friends.

A fashion shoot has predictable timing slots starting from Makeup. Looks that can elevate a fashion shoot to new heights or make it a veritable disaster if you are not careful. When it comes to creating the perfect makeup for a fashion shoot, there is an artistry that goes beyond ordinary beauty routines.

On any given day in India, Imagine the enchanting combination of ethnic female models, vibrant sarees, exquisite jewellery, and the rich cultural heritage of the sub-continental symbolism coming together in one captivating visual.

The key to achieving a breathtaking makeup look lies in celebrating and enhancing the natural features of each model. With precision and creativity, professional makeup artists can transform faces into beautiful works of art from the muted natural to the over the top glamour. From accentuating the eyes and brows and slicking down hair to highlight the face, to creating flawless complexions that radiate sheer elegance, every brushstroke holds the power to mesmerize.

Incorporating elements from India's vibrant culture into dressing up choices and what to shoot adds an extra layer of depth and authenticity. Bold pops of color inspired by traditional textiles can be delicately woven into eyeshadows or lip shades. The jewelry worn by these ethereal models becomes an integral part of the overall look, with strategic highlighting.

As you witness India and its colorful penchant for bold colors and motifs, the celebration that is beauty and style is told in a tale of lyrical transformation unfolding before your eyes.

Here the makeup has just about begun and this is not the final look.

Hair up and more or less finished with the transition from day to evening make up. A little heavy I think.

One of the interesting things about laser hair removal is that even when making up formally it is really quite easy to overdo it as you become used over the years to having to trowel on the slap.

In this instance I over did it - not by much but enough to look less natural.

By the way -any thoughts about how the hair looks tied up? - Can I get away with it?

Slow Food

We made a dough out of various seeds and water. Then I spread it out thinly on Teflex sheets, I got 4 sheets of crackers. Now they are dehydrating. Soon we will have some yummy crackers. These aren't cooked but dried so they are very good for you.

Looks good, nice to hear that crust crackle
