In 2010, whilst in Devon, I captured a shot of the Sea Tractor (seen here) which ferries people between Burgh Island and Bigbury-on-Sea when the tide is in and the island truly becomes an island, at other times the island can be reached on foot over the sand causway connecting the island to the mainland. On our trip to Devon last year I managed to get a shot of the Sea Tractor making the crossing on a rising tide. I was surprised to see it didn't cross on the highest part of the causeway, perhaps the sand is too soft there, but to the East where the beach slopes away hence the fact that the tractor is listing quite a bit although it must be remebered that the wide wheel base makes for stability. To the best of my knowledge there has only been one instance when the sea tractor ran into difficulties on the crossing, that was caused by an engine failure in a rough sea on which occasion a boat had to used to take the passengers off the stricken tractor, luckily no one came to any harm.
Aurea uses her molinillo to whip the chocolate into a foam to make a traditional celebratory drink called "chocolate atole" in Teotitlan del Valle, Oaxaca.
I think that the whole economy is heading for hell in a handcart, but sadly there's little I can do about it, except look after the pennies, and hope the pounds look after themselves.
Watching the Wayang makers making puppet as described by Enday (pak Entang's son), it was an interesting activity. There were splitting wood, painting, putting the clothes, and carved decoration of the puppet’s head.

The first time my Jensen Interceptor has had the correct steel front valance panel for quite a few years!
I put 7 huge heads of Garlic into this machine today, and in approximately. In 9-20 days, I should have made black garlic. I have to check them on the 28th to see how they're doing. We love it and eat it like candy. Pretty soon, the whole house will smell like roasting garlic.
I’m making hay while the sun shines (literally) combining scoring new E40D on the 474 with having a last fling on Tridents on the 262, with refreshments here at Gallions Reach Shopping Park.
One of my two Tridents today was 18462 which has a mere two stops of its journey remaining. 10.10.18.
My mother and my aunt were making these beautiful arancine, a tipical sicilian food. Don't you know them? You should.
