Two days ago I got a call to do a last minute shoot for my friend Erin at Makeup Forever. I was to shoot two models as cheerleaders. I didn't know what toe expect. One girl was a head shot only and tho other was three quarter in a cheerleader outfit. I got a lot of great photos of Casssy but I like this one because of the contrast between her innocent look and the tattos just peeking out at the bottom of the frame. Hard to believe this was her first shoot.

Three Hensel monolights, the key light had a small softbox while the two kickers were bounced into 45" umbrellas and set just behind and on either side of the model. RAW conversion in Photoshop Lightroom,no other processing done.

Sunday:

more christmas shopping today and we scored on some excellent ornaments for the new tree...tomorrow we start decorting so it will be a day of pulling out old boxes and packing away our entire living room stuff for christmas...i'm excited but also annoyed...i want to be more in the holiday spirit but it's so hot!

i'm worried though because when we came home, Ki'Nicky (one of my mum's Chihuahua's) has a swollen face...her cheeks are so puffed out...she doesn't seem to be in any pain and she's eating and drinking and happy as usual so we're not too scared...this actually happened years ago to one of my other dogs and lasted for about three days...we're assuming it's an allergic reaction to something...

Yes, the same night I got my yeti slippers. I like it. v(^_^)v

Fairly big step for me, lol. I've never bought a lipstick before, I really don't like the way it feels on my lips. But in this case there's nothing else that will deliver the pigment, so... one lipstick won't kill me. :p And Make Up For Ever's quality is really great so it's not too drying.

This photo has nice coloring too... feels all-around retro to me.
