What is Ombre? Ombre is the most hot fashion trend that is made of a colour with the fading illusion, or two mixed colours that interact with each other by creating a gorgeous look. I am sure many of you have seen ombre hair, nails, makeup and now lipstick! This a fresh looking lipstick style...
For the 4th look, Cindy thought it would be interesting and fun to try one of her more retro dresses. She had a quick look through her wardrobe and brought out this pink dress with white polka dots. She also teamed it with a white bolero style cardigan, a voluminous petticoat and white heels. We also swapped out the accessories and jewellery for the various pearl ones we see here and finally Cindy added a pink rose to my hair.
I have seen a few other girls with this or similar looks in Cindy's galleries and initially it had me thinking that I looked rather like a 50s housewife or a character from Grease or Mad Men - But then Cindy mentioned a film title - The Stepford Wives and it suddenly made me think of the classic 1975 film (I haven't seen the 2004 Nicole Kidman remake that Cindy was thinking of) and it did seem like a fun title for these photos...
Again, Cindy suggested another blonde style - This time with a longer fringe, slightly longer length and curls like the previous look. The colouring was also much lighter than the previous styles.
Again, we see the famous BWBG Chaise. For some of the poses, Cindy had me recline on the Chaise or perch on the end of it.
In case you're wondering about the half-grimace/half-cheesy grin in this photo, it's because Cindy also had me try standing on one foot, and holding the other foot so that just the tip of the shoe's toe was touching the floor. I have no idea how I managed to stay on my feet and I somehow managed to avoid ending up in an undignified heap on the floor!
