Halloween party at Tango in Beijing. The theme of the party was "fetish", but, as usually happens with themes, most of the people there decided to ignore it and simply wore any kind of costume. The fun part about the party was that everybody from my university was there, even though not all of them were easy to recognize...

Art to Wear: Hand-printed motifs inspired by the Spanish painter Miro transform skimpy tops, palazzo pants and umbrella skirts into wearable ensembles for day to dinner.
Joan Miro is famous for his surrealistic works - in unequal parts based on fantasy, imagination and memory. While the Spanish master painter used oil, paint and brush to express his technique, I painted different colours on my fabrics to emulate the mirror effect of Miro.

Modern Drama: Kimono-inspired gown gets updated with loud African prints, patterns and panache
Africa and Japan are like two sides of a coin. There are no geographical boundaries. One is natural jungle. The other, a concrete urban environment. My inspiration is to blend that contrast and create clothes for those who want to live in a world without borders.

Modern Jazz: The flapper look gets updated with intricate embroidery on the bodice and flirty feathers along the uneven hemline.
I love Jazz and my collection is inspired by the Jazz Age. I think it is one of the most romantic periods in fashion history. Men in pinstriped suits. And women fawning over them in slinky chiffon tops and silk handkerchief shift dresses. The silhouettes are looser, less fitted to lend more comfort and movement in the clothes. My collection will transport you back to that era.

I combine the vibrant colours of the far east with classic cuts of the vintage western styles to create body-conscious evening pieces/ Bustiers and skirts are embellished with glass beads, crystals ornaments. The overall effect sheer, sexy and scintilating.
