Camden Town
Zwischen den üblichen Souvenirläden findet man in diesem Szeneviertel auch traditionelle und moderne Handwerksgüter, sowie durchgeknalltes und praktisches. Auf jeden Fall ist Camden Town ein Besuch wert und ganz leicht von London aus mit dem regulären Linienbus zu erreichen.
Between the usual souvenir shops can be found in this trendy district of traditional and modern craft goods, and loopy and practical. Anyway, Camden Town is worth and very easy to reach a visit from London with the regular bus.

Another picture from Brecon had to stitch 3 images together to maket this picture, but have just bought a 14mm f2.8!! so hopefully wont be doing that too much from now on.
Sorry I have been a bit lacking on keeping up, I have had some things go wrong and have had a bad bump on the head (Long story) but im feeling better now and Ill have a good catch up tonight :)

Ipswich Reds Volvo B7TL Alexander 400 AU53 HKK pulls away from the Swan Pub in Needham Maket on the 88 service from Ipswich to Stowmarket. The pub was built in 1544 and named the Kings Head but renamed after the Civil War!
20 October 2020: Update on The Corona Pandemic –Yesterday was the day that the tightened measures to stop the rising coronavirus infections, hospital admissions and deaths in Belgium that were announced before the weekend became effective. Yesterday was also the day that one of Belgium’s lead virologist said that if everything goes according to plan, there could be a vaccine in the spring, with Belgium envisaging the first vaccination campaign between March and June. Knowing that even with the vaccine, not everything will suddenly be fixed and that we will not be able to drop all the measures at once it looks like we are in for one of the most difficult winters ever. Weekly markets more preferable because they bring the sellers and buyers into direct contact avoiding brokers.
These markets have mostly been organised on sundays and well coordinated. People from near by areas and office goers are the main takers.
Weekly village markets are common in India.

Before the sun came out. Ipswich Buses Scania Omnicity YR61 RUU comes under the Orwell bridge and the entrance to Suffolk Food hall working the 92 sevice from Ipswich Cattle Maket to Manningtree. Would be great walking along the Feston shore here if there was a footpath!

Paksé (Laos) - Paksé est la première ville laotienne quand on arrive de Bangkok par la route. De là, on peut aller dans tout le Laos, au Cambodge et même au Vietnam. De nombreux bus partent quotidiennement.
Pour cette première étape laotienne nous avons décidé d’y rester deux ou trois jours. Cela faisait cinq jours que nous étions partis de Paris et depuis, nous n’avions guère eu l‘occasion de reprendre notre souffle. Paksé est considéré comme une simple ville étape où le voyageur arrive le soir et repart le lendemain matin ou par les bus de nuit.
Je me suis dit qu’une ville où on ne fait que transiter ne doit pas être victime du tourisme de masse et que les voyageurs se concentreraient dans les gares routières. J’avais vu juste, mais hormis l’immense marché où se retrouvent les Laotiens venus de toute la région pour commercer, il faut bien admettre que deux jours sur place sont très largement suffisants pour reprendre des forces avant de poursuivre son voyage.
Le grand marché est couvert, mais c’est à l’extérieur, dans un coin improbable, que j’ai trouvé ce petit marché aux animaux. Outre les chèvres - vendues plus pour leur lait que pour la viande -, on trouve des cochons vietnamien et des volailles.
Live animal market
Pakse (Laos) - Pakse is the first Laotian city when arriving from Bangkok by road. From there, you can go all over Laos, Cambodia and even Vietnam. Many buses depart daily.
For this first Laotian stage, we decided to stay there for two or three days. It had been five days since we left Paris and since then we had hardly been able to catch our breath. Pakse is considered a simple stopover town where the traveler arrives in the evening and leaves the next morning or even the following evening, by night bus.
I told myself that a city where you only transit should not be a victim of mass tourism and that travelers would concentrate in the bus stations. I was right, but apart from the huge market where Laotians come from all over the region to trade, you have to admit that two days there is more than enough to regain your strength before continuing your journey.
The large market is covered. So it was outside in an unlikely corner that I found this animal market. Besides goats - sold more for their milk than for their meat - there are pigs and poultry.
Digging in the Archives Tuesday - I photographed these well known characters at a maket garden in Italy a few years ago.
