A Hackerspace or Makerspace oftentimes act as a co-op community workshop that operates so that members could have access to devices and workforce to finish their own personal project which would have been difficult by themselves because of either absence of tools, workforce, or know-how. For Granby Elementary School - Rather than a poster, this team used the space to allow people to experience a makerspace. There is a magnet game called "Rattle Snake", a paper craft, Legos, and an oasis made from home-made play-dough.

Inauguración del Multiespacio Educativo Cultural en la Biblioteca Artigas Washington con la presencia de Carol Brey, Consejera de Servicios Informativos del Departamento de Estado de los Estados Unidos.

Este nuevo concepto crea espacios colaborativos de trabajo con acceso a tecnología, información y recursos en diferentes áreas para potenciar la creatividad de los usuarios y el intercambio de conocimiento.

Acompañó la inauguración del nuevo espacio la realización del taller "MakerSpaces, FabLabs and HackerSpaces: qué son, cómo funcionan y qué tipo de actividades promueven"
