To celebrate National Wildlife Refuge Week, volunteers camped overnight at the end of remote Deadhorse Road deep in the Desert National Wildlife Refuge. Before enjoying a dinner of chili and apple cornbread around the campfire, the team installed a barrier of 100 posts to mark the end of the road, camping area and turn off to Deadhorse Spur. We also removed and replaced vandalized "No OHV" and "Trailhead" signs.
