We used to say that to our mother, my brother and I. On our endlessly long car journeys – like a movie. On these trips by car there was always so much to see, unforgettable images for my memory. And unforgettable sounds when my mother picked up the harmonica and played one piece after the other – as a replacement for a radio, we didn't play that very often, maybe because the reception wasn't the very best ;-) Nice, unforgettable trips of my childhood in harmony.

The Firefly still original is the first frame. I used it to generate the next two (3 sec.) video clips with Canva's image to video feature.

The Harmony Motel located on the hwy at 29 Palms California is legendary to so many.
It was here that the famed Rock Band U2 secluded themselves years ago while they created their album the Joshua Tree. Do See This

Well, since it was brought to my attention, this is taken with my Olympus Stylus 790SW. It faced some filters in PS CS2. It was born out like this. Smile.

I was setting up to take a picture of Antonio Mayott, a Harvard Square artist who creates science fiction and fantasy pictures with cans of spray paint. As I did, a girl with a painted face and feathers in her hair walked past me and into the small crowd that was watching the guy work. All I could think was what a shot I'd missed! But then she approached him and they started talking...

I was setting myself to take a picture of this guy (another one!), a Harvard Square regular who sits near the kiosk and creates science fiction and fantasy pictures with cans of spray paint. As I did, this girl with her face painted and all those feathers in her hair walked past me and into the small crowd that was watching the guy work. All I could think was what a shot I'd missed! But then she approached him and they started talking . . .

Taken at the MakeMusic Festival in Gastown in June. It was a really cool idea for a festival :) it started in the evening after work one night; they set up a bunch of tents lining the sides of the street and each one had a busker playing for a certain time slot.
I actually got photographed by a Vancouver Fashion Week photographer at the festival too :P you can see it posted HERE!

So I was stupid and didn't realize yesterday was Tuesday (because there was no school Monday for Memorial Day) so I actually started my 7 Days Project on Tuesday.
Well, nothing I can do now haha, here's Day 2 shot. It's a Mickey Mouse Christmas stocking holder! I love Disney. I used a mini-studio soft box thing with a red quilt as the background.
I've created a group for this particular project, so if anyone want to start (it's only 7 days, c'mon) here's the link:

Was just having a conversation with my brother today about life and continuing our education. He was contemplating graduate degrees in Psychology, Business or Music. I told him it should be music - it's his passion.
Later in the day, came across this on the window of a car.

A summer theme on Make Music / Harvard Square Day, part of the world-wide Make Music Day (World Music day / Fete de la Musique Day). These folks (there were six of them) were musicians of a sort -- the drummer's main instrument was a suitcase. Their summer theme was enhanced by the water wings on the drummer, the water ring over the accordionist's cap, and the beach towel on the backup vocalist.
Two guys who look like folk singers from the 60s (one's barefoot, the other's in sandals, and there was a girl on the bongos with them) singing on Mass Ave on Make Music day in Harvard Square.
