Marie Rodgers and Maria Livings studied painting and printmaking at Maidstone Art College and developed their business while working in the theatre and community arts after moving to South East London.
They've used their love of colour and drawing skills for a range of homewares many of which are made in house at their studio at Cockpit Arts in Deptford where they have twice yearly open studio events. Patterns evolve from their surroundings - boats on the river, arches at the DLR, and even South London backgardens. Theirs are products full of charm, wit and character - lampshades (for which they are well known), ceramics, cushions, tea towels and more
