For the past couple weeks I have been trying to set up a new photo editing space. I have been using the Window Gallery editing tools on my Windows 7 computer for a long time. After much cursing and maybe a few tears, I have things to the point where I can start learning how this setup works.

My new Dell P2715Q 4K monitor is hooked up to my Lenovo Window 7 computer and I am now able to connect my Macbook Pro in clamshell mode. I finally got the Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop CC software installed.

My biggest problem has been transferring and then finding my photos when I put them on the Macbook. This is my first Mac and it has a steep learning curve, at least to me. I finally edited 5 photos last night and finally figured out how to transport them to Flickr. I results were OK. I did way over sharpen them. I need to read a LOT more before I figure this out. At least I have another 9 months before I go to South Korea for a week and Japan for another 2 weeks.
