Captured in December during the polar night, this image shows the serene beauty of Tromsø, Norway. While the sun does not rise above the horizon at this latitude during mid-winter, a twilight glow illuminates the sky for a few hours each day. The distant snow-covered mountains frame the scene, while the still waters of the fjord reflect the last hues of light in vivid tones of pink, blue, and gold. This peaceful moment is a reminder of the unique rhythm of life above the Arctic Circle.
This photo will end my series on Lofoten, a country that offers passionate photographers many incredible landscapes. This photo is taken in Hamnøy, near the village Reine; it is the most popular part of the archipelago, and there are some good reasons for that!
Sixth picture of my series Origin.
(This time focusing foreground in this trunk that was close to the shore, returning to the sea)
Who among us has not ever asked yourself: What are we? Where we come from? and where do we go?
A very simple and purely material response might be:
We are sea water sea we come and we will return to the sea. And it always reminds me of the connections that our internal environment with the sea.
Connections that obey biological facts of universal and eternal proportions that are unquestionable.
Picture taken just a minutes after the sunset in La Garrofera Beach from Valencia, this wonderful natural and wild beach belongs to the Albufera Natural Park.

Magic moments before sunrise (Blue Hour) in my hometown Valencia.
I do not usually make architectural photography, but a friend recommended me to try this beautiful place that is the City of Science.
This frame seemed very curious and can only be performed during sunrise, when it reflects and reveals this aspect of an eye.
Picture one raw only, using four step ND filter and Black Card.

Seventh picture of my series My Dreamed Sunset. (This time an horizontal panorama view of the nets, just a minutes after the powerful sunset.)
I leave you today with this photograph of the last October, the most intense sunset in the Albufera of Valencia Natural Park than i have contemplated in all my life. A dream come true.
They were about ten minutes in which the red flooded everything, creating an incredible atmosphere, with red, orange, yellow, pink and blue colors. Just incredible. What do you think about it???
On the technical side, say that I only used a Formatt Hitech ND graduated three steps filter combined withh black card technique.
I hope you like it. Have a nice Tuesday. :)

You may have noticed that I've taken yet another *short* break from Flickr. I was getting too busy to keep up with things on here, and my inspiration was running low.
Regardless, after almost a week, I'm ready to get back into it. You'll probably be mainly seeing photos from my trip to Seattle last week... until past Wednesday or so, when I get to NYC. :)
Also, I'll get to my contact's photostreams asap.

Sixth picture of the series Canes & Mud.
(Just the next day of previous photoshoot, I tryed another time for take longer exposures. What do you think about this another sunrise? Soon I will post new photos of both session.)
Magical sunrise in this beautiful place that is the Albufera of Valencia.
The image title is because during the photoshoot, surrounded by all this beauty, calm water, boat, reeds, mud, tranquility, flying birds ... every moment reminded me a lot to the great novel "Cañas y Barro" of the great Valencian writer Vicente Blasco Ibáñez, set in rural Valencia (Albufera) of the early twentieth century, the novel observes and portrays the social reality of the time and place with absolute precision.
Would like to thank this picture to my friend Javier Girbés, which helped me a lot with the location and encouraged me to know this magnificent spot.

Sunrise at Beach Of The Dead -Almería-
This beach gets its name because of the strong currents existing in the area, which dragged the bodies to the beach of the shipwrecks that occurred near them.
Shooted with my new Canon EF 16-35mm f/4L IS USM, wonderful lens, I felt very comfortable using it, I think it is perfect in every way.
The picture is a unique Raw, with only combining a neutral filter of four steps and black card technique.

Mølen in Brunlanes, Larvik is a geopark and Norway's largest beach of rolling stones. It is a part of Vestfoldraet, the terrain left behind after the end of the most recent ice age around 10,000 years ago. Mølen is one of Larvik's most popular tourist attractions. It is home to over a hundred species of rock, including Norway's national stone, Larvikite, which is named from the area.
The wind and sea have lashed the landscape of Mølen for thousands of years, and the place takes its name from the Old Norse word "mol", meaning a stone mound or bank of stones.
Mølen first received protected status in 1939 due to its ancient burial mounds. Mølen is home to over 230 cairns, some exceeding 35 metres (115 ft) in diameter. Excavations have dated the cairns to the Bronze Age 900-600 BCE. The cairns have been purchased and acquired by the University Museum of National Antiquities.
Mølen received a new protection status in 1970 due its rich and unusual avifauna. Mølen is a habitat for a variety of rare bird species. Between 316 and 320 species of birds have been recorded at Mølen, more species than at any other site in Norway.

Sunrise on the beach of El Saler.
The night before I consulted the necessary parameters and all were favorable while very strange to be November 21:
- Sunrise Time 7:50 h.
- Cloudy sky.
- Temperature 20 degrees.
- Winds west around 40 km / h.
I decided to go to a nearby location such as this beautiful beach.
I just was amazed, there were still 15 minutes before dawn and the entire sky was stained deep red, reflected in seawater and developing as blood.
The wind was so strong that I had to hold my hands even a tripod to prevent camera shake.
A light show that lasted a few minutes.

Magic sunrise on the beach of Xilxes -Castellón-
People who opted for the beach of this town, looking especially fine sand and gentle slope of its two beaches with a Caribbean look motivated with palm trees, the small dune, and the viewpoint, which is accessed through a wooden walkway. At the end, we will have penetrated 100 meters above the sea, and have the option of sitting in his circular bench to watch the sea in peace.

Only a couple of months since I visited the north coast, and I really want to shooting again those cliffs, these formations, such as strong tides.
When I arrived at this particular location, I had seen many pictures, but decided I wanted something different.
I waited until the sun went down, and decided to focus only on the impressive formation, almost magical it is this gateway to the sea.
That day was very windy, so the waves broke heavily in it and with long exposure drew the lines that I wanted in the end result.
I hope you like it.

Europe - UK - England - Cornwall - Land's End - Penn an Wlas - Pedn an Wlas - Mainland Britain's most westerly point and one of the country's most famous landmarks, with 200 foot high granite cliffs that rise out of the Atlantic Ocean
End of May or June are great months to visit this wonderful special place as the sun set north enough to appear behind the arch, plus the wonderful Sea Pink or Purple Sea Thrift Flower is in full bloom everywhere along the cliffs. All you need is just the right amount of clouds for bit of color and not too much wind which somehow seem to be part of this dramatic location at all times.
UK is blessed with such spectacular coastline, Cornwall is an amazing place to explore, but if you are curious to see how Dorset or Scotland looks in motion, check :

Europe - Scandinavia - Norway - North of the Arctic Circle - Lofoten Island - Moskenes - Hamnoy - Hamnøy - Picturesque fishing village under fresh cover of snow at Dusk - Twilight - Blue Hour - Night
Guilty as charged - one of the most photographed locations on Lofoten, but I simply could not help myself, because if there is A place to stay in Lofoten, it surely must be these cabins which might look like those traditional fisherman cabins from outside... but they are no longer anything like that inside. Wonderful interior, very different from when we stayed there 10 years ago.

Europe - UK - England - Cornwall - Bodmin Moor - Cheesewring (Keuswask) near Minions - Granite tor on Stowe's Hill - Natural geological formation, rock outcrop of granite slabs formed by weathering. The name derives from resemblance of piled slabs to "cheesewring", press-like device that was once used to make cheese
This was one of those incredible sunsets that any photographer dreams about, especially as it seemingly came out of nowhere after a long dull day. It just shows, it is always good to be ready and out there ! Unfortunately it was so super windy that it would have been impossible to use tripod for steady shots at low ISO. I always love those weather forecast descriptions - they called it a "fresh breeze" ! I wonder what "strong wind" would feel like. I could hardly keep my feet on the ground, so all photos had to be taken hand held while praying they'll be sharp enough !
