Fire in the air, above the earth and reflected in the water.
Fireworks at the Semana Grande in Gijón. Taken in the beach of San Lorenzo near the Escalerona, taking advantage of the puddles that the low tide had left on the beach, to get the multicolored reflections of the fires exploding above the church.

We had dinner with friends in Milpitas, California. After we filled our tummies we went across the street to a teahouse in a strip mall for dessert.
I processed a realistic and a paintery HDR photos from three RAW exposures, merged them selectively, and carefully adjusted the color balance and curves. I welcome and appreciate constructive comments.

The idea was to do a setup with a visible aurora in the sky. Some DIY iceworld stencil cut.
A77 + Walimex Pro 8mm with several aperture for the lights. Instant Aurora was done with a green & yellow gels mix on a foil dimmed Flash in continuous light mode.
One of my rare Dioramas. Inspired by the quality work of some great fellas like Matthias Heppt, Dennis Ryu Bär, Mirko Panzeri, Dave Gijon Asturias & last but never least Tim Gamble!
Had this plan for a very long time but the craft work scared me off. But it was worth the time!

Lindos (in Greek: Λίνδος) is an archaeological site, a town and a former municipality on the island of Rhodes, in the Dodecanese, Greece. Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality Rhodes, of which it is a municipal unit. It lies on the east coast of the island. It is about 50 km south of the town of Rhodes and its fine beaches make it a popular tourist and holiday destination. Lindos is situated in a large bay and faces the fishing village and small resort of Haraki.
Above the modern town rises the acropolis of Lindos, a natural citadel which was fortified successively by the Greeks, the Romans, the Byzantines, the Knights of St John and the Ottomans.

I´m a big fan of the Disney movie „The black hole“ since my childhood.
It was and still is fascinating and scary at the same time that Dr. Hans Reinhardt will stay there for all eternity........epic.... :) :P
I had this idea for ages.....happy how nice it turned out. Some tries with a tricksticked stargate in the background looked nice too, but I love the simplicity here.

Hoy vuelvo con otra toma de Madrid. En esta ocasión nos situamos en el cruce entre C/ Alcalá y Gran Vía. En el encontramos el edificio Metrópolis, edificio emblemático con más de cien años de historia.

Hoy quiero compartir con vosotros la quita toma de mi serie “The last of us”. Este pasada navidad, me invitaron a una quedada en Yecla, donde nos juntamos unos cuantos aficionados a las nocturnas y lightpainting de varios lugares como Albacete, Jumilla, Denia, Bélgica…y Cartagena. Se decidió quedar en Yecla, en el Monte Arabí, donde pudimos disfrutar de esta maravillosa cueva, la cueva de La Horadada. Nunca había estado en este lugar, y cuando vi por internet las fotos de la cueva, el primer encuadre en el que pensé fue el de esta foto. Era un lugar perfecto para hacer una nueva toma de esta serie. A través de la apertura podemos ver la vía láctea, cosa que no fue planificada pero tuve mucha suerte.
Iluminación realizada únicamente con flash (potencia 1/64) con un difusor y un filtro naranja para contrastar con el tono frio del cielo.

Un entorno muy peculiar en el que podemos encontrar algo de maquinaria abandonada, como es el caso de esta cita que se usaba para transportar el mineral.
