I created " spacedubwise " for my party
long time ago. I totally love this sound .
Oh, of course my mind is influenced by every sick tune :)
These are my mad professor glasses which I use when I'm constructing evil apocalyptic death rays in the cellar out of broom handles and R50 reflector bulbs that I will ultimately use to take over the world and force everyone to take photos of themselves every day forever. With pinhole cameras. Mwwuhahaha. etc.

Mad professor, didn’t get off to a good start this morning, lots of moisture in the air and belton once again was playing up big time, by 5pm after a 7am start, I’d had enough,
Out to MOONZ, BOSS, BLAVOE, GNASHER, IZER, & NOIR...

I thought I was getting funny looks in M & S today as I did the shopping with my wood working respirator on.......
A bit of humour in these trying times, while capturing the long hair and bushy eyebrows that have not been attended to for months. {Excuse the respirator but do not want a full face image on Flickr for folks to use as a fake passport or whatever.}

There are three other creatures living at the haunted house - hidden in the basement. It's the mad professor Edgar, the swamp creature Glubb and the ugly Frank Rock.
This build is a modification of the Haunted House (#10228). My husband added a basement with space for three other creatures. I helped him to build the interior.

Professor Coggins shooting game on Paignton Pier, Devon, UK.
Based on a mad professor's laboratory, Professor Coggins has loads of zany and whacky targets to aim for.

Edgar is a raving lunatic. He is experimenting with all kinds of living and dead objects. Currently he is trying to genetically modify frogs in a way that they will produce his favourite lemonade.

Franky is a really nice and romantic guy deep down. His biggest desire is a girlfriend but because of his looks he is too shy to make the first step. He loves to play the piano, takes a bath every day and is able to wash his clothes on his own. He will take care of his girlfriend as good as he can, give her flowers and make breakfast for her. So, if you are interested or know some girl who is, please, contact him: franky@hauntedhouse.com. (Sorry he only wears underwear on the photo above. His only pants are hanging on the clothes line.)

Some poor, non-Thai, guy wanders around Bangkok, Thailand, scribbling indecypherable (except, maybe, to himself...) diagrams on various places. (in this case, a telephone box...) I've seen photographs of other of his diagrams, and they looked kind of like computer programming flowcharts. He has been dubbed the "Mad Professor" by at least one respected Bangkok commentator. This one is/was on Rachatdamri Road, near the Sarasin road intersection. Taken by a Nikon D610 at ISO 400 with a Nikkor 35-135mm ƒ 3.5-4.5 AF lens. (at 35)
I'm unsure if copyright applies to the image of the diagram - it's graffiti, and done in a public place / (and on public property....) and my knowledge of Thai copyright law is woefully inadiquate!

Glubb loves everything that is greasy and slippery, moistly and muddy. He has direct access to the sewage and collects everything that's useful to him.

I found this old lab coat in the back of a massive wardrobe containing all our old clothes and costumes from many world book days in primary school. Apparently it was my mum's in uni, and it was already covered in lots of brown/dark red paint.
Finally got to use my home made smoke bombs. I wouldn't recommend it unless a) you do not care for your health b) you don't mind smelling like your personally burning a hole in the ozone layer and c) you don't mind that there is a pretty large chance it may slightly explode.
Never the less I am definitely enjoying being able to start taking photographs again. All be it hobbling around on a crutch since after my operation haha :)
The Mad Professors Ariwa imprint has always stood for some very interesting releases whether it would be roots, lovers rock or dancehall. A lot of it would be too idiosyncratic for me to touch other stuff would find that perfect balance and present music with a definite vision and a higly unique sound-scape.
Mother Nature is a group, a singer, a backing band? I really don't know. I don't even know how to classify this set. Dub? Vocal? It features three vocal songs and the rest of the songs are dubwise. »Fire Bun« is a deep roots anthem that would keep any yute ital step in a dance.
»Fire bun, fire bun, fire bun them
Fire bun, fire bun, fire bun them
But it never bun Shadrach, Meshach and Abendigo!
They were cast in the fire.
But they never get burned.«
For me personally the Twinkle Brothers »Never Get Burned« was the definite song about the three yutes getting saved from the fiery furnace of the wicked Nebuchadnezzar -- King of Babylon. The song »Kingston Hot« is a rootical rendition of Josey Wales ever-living classic with the same name. A brilliant reworking that entirely reinvents the song. I wouldn't ever have noticed if it wasn't for the credits on the sleeve. The final vocal song, »Ganja Smuggling« is as good as the other two. One would expect it to be yet another cover of a dancehall classic even though I wouldn't think it is. Tough vibes. I tell you.
Dubwise the album goes from covers of classics such as »Riding on a High and Windy Day« (here titled »Heaven & Earth«) and Nigger Kojak's »Penitentiary« (»Waterfall«) to heavy duty original compositions such as »Fresh Air«. The arrangements are often heavy drum and bass workouts with some small instrumental elements added for variety. It's broad and heavy vibes. A rather humble instrumentation but still full-bodied arrangements. Mad Professor is himself rather restrained and gives the album a spiritual mix free from gimmicks.
The cover art has to be one of the most serene paintings I've ever seen. Absolutely brilliant. Unfortunately there's no naming of the artist. The album was as noted earlier released on Ariwa.
Ok, this one looked nice. Really. The problem is it sounded fizzy like a cheap-ass Crate amp. Very little IMD audible though.
