I was finally at a "friendly place" for a video/photo shoot, and while everyone was at lunch, I took some time to shoot around the shop. These are some gears, obviously, that they are making for a project. I am always blown away by people who can manufacture something like these gears and not think twice about it. If I get a chance, will post more from this shoot, but got to finish their project first. Will be holed up in a dark editing room for the next week or so.

I saw this rascal crawling across the road where I am working. I ran to the pickup grabbed my camera, swapped lenses and ran back to where he was at and couldn’t find him. I had to step out into the clean ditch because I was afraid I was about to step on him. I looked into the direction I thought he had traveled and found him laying there. With my 100 to 400 lens I was able to get these shots. He never got excited, never started buzzing, but he tested the air while I was in front of him.

This weeks challenge took me to the back corners of my garage. Rusty, dusty and crusty sits my old Schwinn Bike.
It was the bike to have back in the day and at that time was made in Chicago, my hometown.

Aermotor USA—Since 1988. You can still buy one of these from the original company! That is amazing to me. I can never resist these windmills. To see one so perfectly and beautifully placed was a visual treat.
