Something I snapped a year ago.

The image is an HDR from 3 exposures in Photomatix. The I used mostily curves in photoshop to get the desired contrast of each element. Then the muted tones. The secret ingredient to muted tones is to make a copy of the background layer, set the blending mode to hue, opacity to 40-80% and then Image>Adjustments>Hue/saturation and check Colorize and set the hue to something nice. I find 40 beautiful. I hope you enjoy this tip.
