The Financial District, and much of the city has been lit in orange during the MLB playoffs and the World Series.
Nick and I decided to shoot this iconic shot during Game 7 of the World Series. Not knowing if the Giants were going to win or lose, we wanted to capture the Trans America Building with the orange beacon, and Coit Tower lit in orange before it all came to an end.
Fortunately the Giants won a hard fought series that won't be forgotten anytime soon.
Winning the World Series 3 times in 5 years is an amazing feat, and will be recorded in history forever.
I'm glad to have captured a single moment in San Francisco on the night the Giants won their third World Series.

Madison Bumgarner of the Arizona Diamondbacks greets old friend Buster Posey of the San Francisco Giants before batting in the first inning. Bumgarner will strike out in his at bat, leaving the bases loaded and Arizona up 3-0. The Giants would go on to win the game 5-4 on a walk-off single from "Late-Night" LaMonte Wade Jr. in the bottom of the Ninth Inning.
Noah Syndergaard pitched great last night, but MadBum was better. Thanks to the Mets for a great season. We'll get them next year.

I used a GIANT camera, with a PANDA grip, a utility BELT, and a HUNTER filter. It was held steady by a MADBUM solid tripod. This simple methodology is called THE BOUCHY and is used to create winning shoots like this. It only is available every 2 years in SAN FRANCISCO.
One thing Giants fan photographers haven't been able to do for the World Series in 2010, 2012 and now 2014 is see (and shoot) the team winning the Series at home. Not that I'm really complaining, mind you. This shot is from Sunday night in San Francisco, their last game here before going back to KC: Bumgarner's great shutout performance in Game 5
