If you haven't heard of Linotype's FontExplorerX You're missing out on the best font management program for OS X.
The the best part is it's free.
It's the only font management program that didn't crash when I loaded all 15,863 fonts into it. Suitcase would just crash.
Absolutely doing nothing of any consequence.
Dock, in order: Finder, Dashboard, Spaces, 1Password, Yahoo Messenger (I changed the internal icon to another native internal icon, b/c the happy Yahoo! guy creeps me out, in a Burger King "The King" way), Adium (sitting on a MacBook), iChat, AddressBook, iCal, Writer, iTunes, Photo Booth, iPhoto, iTerm, Journler, Safari, and Mail.app.
All of the changed icons are from hybridworks.jp/, except for the aforementioned Yahoo!, and the griffin Mail.app stamp, for which I humbly thank tonysmac.
Oh, and the checkboard (how appropriate) Dock is thanks to DockDoctor.
Mind the gap, and the folders are Knitting, Documents, and Downloads.

This is my gel contact sheet. Pretty simple setup, strob camera left, about 6' high,. direct on the subject., probably 3-4 feet away, 28mm.
#2213 was at 1/16 power, straight flash, no gels. The gels where held in place with a DIY gel holder, made from craft sticks, bongoties, and a name badge holder. When is likely why all the shoots with gels (2219+), where shot with 1/4 power.
Eventually, I'll figure out which each gel is. The first half color effects, and the second set half is color correction/CTO gels.
#2212, not posted, which is pretty much exactly like #2213, but used for configure the custom white balance for all the shots.
Images were shot RAW, exported with Digital Photo Professional at max quality at 320x213. Contact sheet was created with these images using contactsheetmaker for MacOS X.

I choose not to use my Dock in OS X, and instead opt to put things I need to keep handy in the menu bar. The result: too many icons! In order from left to right:

Team Fortress for Mac includes a New Training Mode, I guess for all the newbie Mac users (of which I am not), and new earbuds so that the jealous PC users can know who to shoot first, apparently.

Dock etc.: DragThing. I'm using it for a two-tabbed dock on the bottom left, a quick-access folders tab on the bottom right, and a (transparent) minimized-program dock next to the folders tab (if you were wondering what the duplicate Firefox and Azureus icons were about).

I'm using the UNO theme to make the OS X GUI fit better together. I like it MUCH better than the standard interface theme.
The main reason I use UNO is because you don't need to run any extra software in order to get the interface to look like this.
Using Backlight & Lotsa Snow screensaver in conjuction for my desktop and browsing through the latest news via Vienna 2.1 RSS aggregiator with an aqua pastel CSS style I created myself.
I made my own custom icon for Apple's Safari.app. Now available for download.
To Download: CONTROL-CLICK this link and save to your computer. If the browser saves it as "compass.icns.txt," rename it to "compass.icns".
The Easiest Way to Change The Safari Icon
The Safari application doesn't allow this to happen easily. I use a program called Pixadex. You drag the .icns file into the library and tell it to be the custom icon for any application or folder.
I was searching for something completely unrelated. Stopped me in my tracks. "Monks" and "fireballs" just aren't two words you see together every day, you know.
(yes, it's a real game.)
I wonder if this was part of their deal being part of Beacon at launch. Either way, they seem serious about facebook.
p.s. I heart Netflix, but there's a blockbuster two blocks away, so I'm trying the free month with in-store exchange. Their site blows.

So, after I tried tons of softwares for todo lists, here I'm at the end of my search, CHECK OFF is perfect for what I need.
For the occasion I cleaned my menu bar, usually I liked to collect items on it, but now it's way minimal.
I also did a donation to the developer.
At the bottom there's my way to classify label colors.

Labels Translation (under massive request) from top to bottom:
red: You passed the deadline heavily!
orange: You are late.
yellow: He will call you shortly
green: Think about it
blue: I'll think about it later
purple: Fake nothingness (don't know how to translate)
grey: Incredible, you did it
There was one, and only one, thing I was jealous of when I saw the
Vista (and now Windows 7) UI and that was the really cute way it
allowed you to take a peak at apps in the taskbar.
But… I put it aside, I even forgot what a
“taskbar” was, I mean “dock” of course.
As a recent switcher
I was a bit confused about the way OS X does Windows. You switch to an
app and it displays all the open Windows… with the most recent
on top… and sometimes it just showed the app was active even
though it had no windows… Why? What?? It made no sense to
me.
I’ve grown to love the way the Mac does its thing and, with
the Spirited
Away app and SizeUp, I’m really
happy with moving windows, switching and the like.
But Hyperdock is the
cherry icing on the cake top. Not only does it have a lovely
Vistastylee widow preview do-dad.
Hyperdock is in ßeta but
it’s looking, and feeling, lovely already. I’d happilly
shell out $5 for this little enhancement when the developer needs a
bit of cash.
iMac MacUpdate. Since September (upgrade to Sierra?), apps on my iMac are not showing as updateaable. Only apps installed in the last week are. (I'm showing all apps).
