Another fun day out shopping. This is Megan, a Mac cosmetics professional that helped me today and she was so fun, nice, and obviously gorgeous! I have strict orders from her, and in her words.......... " Lisa do not listen to anyone else except me for you makeup needs, I will never steer you wrong!" I better listen because she really knew her stuff and she even gave me her email and cell phone in case of a cosmetic emergency!!

Esse esmalte é daqueles que é muito mais bonito no vidrinho do que na unhas, infelizmente. :(
A descrição da marca diz que ele é um magenta profundo, mas eu vejo mesmo é um roxo, bem cor de suco de uva. A aplicação foi bem mais ou menos porque, apesar de cobrir perfeitamente com uma camada, ele escorreu muito pras cutículas e foi bem chatinho de limpar. Secou super rápido e com um brilho bom, já o shimmer magenta, que é visível no vidrinho, fica bem discreto nas unhas... Só dá o ar da sua graça com iluminação direta.
Eu esperava mais dele, fui enganada pelas fotos da interwebz, mas tudo bem.
Tirei a foto à noite, a iluminação ficou um pouco estranha, mas o tom dele é esse mesmo. Pelo menos, ficou assim em mim.

2. Sorry – Justin Bieber
Dê uma 2ª chance a algum esmalte com o qual não rolou aquela afinidade da primeira vez.
Assim que li a descrição desta etapa lembrei do Concubine. Como havia usado puro e me irritado pq ele ficou todo manchado, desta vez escolhi um vermelho alaranjado berrante para usar como base.
O Bahamas lembra muito o Hedonist, mas a fórmula não é perfeita como a do Models Own, pois tende a manchar se o pincel não vier bem carregado, e se fosse usar puro precisaria de pelo menos 3 camadas para cobrir bem (tem uma foto assustadoramente lambrecada nos coments, só para registrar que ele foi usado, pq eu só limpei os dedos qd terminei tudo hehe).
Secou rápido e com aspecto ensebado, e foram necessárias duas camadas do Concubine sobre ele, pois com uma ficou manchado. Adorei o tom de vinho resultante do layering, ficou bem mais parecido com a cor do vidrinho do que na primeira vez que usei esse MAC. Os brilhinhos magenta não aparecem tanto na unha, mas são perceptíveis com o movimento das mãos.
Ao contrário do Bahamas, o Concubine demorou a secar, e como eu já estava com 4 camadas generosas de esmalte e o brilho dele é ok, ao invés de TC passei o Secante Express da Mohda - estreando! Achei tão esquisito pincelar aquela agüinha nazunha, mas aprovei demais o resultado, secou rapidinho mesmo.
Apesar de ter curtido a cor nas unhas, minha antipatia pelo Concubine não se dissipou, Sorry... =P

March 19, 2020 - Decatur, Georgia - Mac McGee’s Irish pub in downtown Decatur. This was shot right after St. Patrick’s Day, the last day they were open.
You know Christmas is near, when Mac appears with tinsel on him.
After unpacking the decorations, I made sure Mac was posed for his Xmas special. It was a long winded, frustrating affair, but we got there in the end.

My beautifully slinky mac from Weathervain dot com Alas, it got nicked from a Manchester club while I was pinioned against the wall outside. I won't object if you wish to replace it for me :)
M Travel introduced the fast X64 from Garforth & Kippax into Leeds via the Motorway and new roads in East Leeds last year. Solos now sometimes appear, this one came from the Scottish Lowlands at Mac Ewans, rendered surplus by service changes there. It is seen here at Cross Green inbound during February.

While going through boxes of stuff I saved in the 1980's, I found a stack of McDonald's 1988 Olympic cups. This one was in the middle of the stack.

A quick shot from Liverpool. I know this shot has potential. Fog / mist would set it off.
This is the second mural I painted in Monterrey for the Seres Queridos project. The figure is Vitaliano Cerda, who runs a used book shop in the center of the city. I painted this one a little looser and faster than usual...black spraypaint with fatcaps, as usual. The red background designs were painted with roller and acrylics by Sanez, a super talented young artist from Monterrey. His designs often include a mix of animals native to northern Mexico and have a strong indigenous influence. Really cool stuff.

After spending the summer (2015) with their feathered friends at WWT Slimbridge, and Halloween at London Wetland Centre, the giant LEGO® brick animals headed north to WWT Martin Mere in Lancashire for Christmas. In February 2016 they will head over to WWT Castle Espie in Northern Ireland for February Half Term fun, before joining the GIANT Duck Hunt at WWT Washington for Easter.
The models were created by Bright Bricks, the UK’s only certified LEGO professionals, and Tom Poulsom, the famous LEGO brick ‘birdman’. In total, 123,200 LEGO bricks were used over 965 hours to make all 10 characters.
