MacroMonday. Il tema di questa settimana è "Silhouette".
Il tema non è stato semplicissimo da realizzare e ha anche suscitato un po' di dubbi su quello che è veramente il significato di silhouette.
Devo dire che in effetti il tema era complesso, se non fosse stata questa la richiesta di MacroMonday non avrei mai pensato di fotografare una silhouette...macro. La location di questo scatto è il mio (ormai famosissimo) giardino; ho sfruttato la penombra per creare la silhouette anche se ho dovuto poi aumentare i contrasti e diminuire le ombre.

MacroMonday. This week's theme is "Silhouette".
The theme wasn't easy to accomplish and it also aroused some doubt about what is really the meaning of silhouette.
I must said that the theme was indeed complex, had this not been MacroMonday's request I would never have thought to photographing a silhouette ... macro. The location of this shot is my (now famous) garden; I used the penumbra to create the silhouette even though I had to increase contrasts and decrease the shadows.

The amount of time and energy used to arrange and take this photo far exceeded the quality of the resulting image.

Padlock inside me
The object used for this week's challenge is in this case a small padlock with three wheels with 9 digits each, with which a combination can be stored.
Measurements are 1.50 cm wide by 2,75 cm high.

HMM- the macromonday theme for today, 5/4, is kitchen- utensils, gadgets and tools :) there are several possibilities (6) for today; this is a screen that you put over a fry pan so the grease doesn't spatter.

this is a small 2" cactus, shot pointing into the morning sun, and the blue sky is the background. the spikes give an interesting outline.

Macro Mondays: Keyhole
The hexagon is a naturally-occurring shape and is most commonly found in honeycomb. By default, we associate the shape with bees and their teamwork and cooperative nature. Community, creation and balance are just a few of the feelings evoked by this geometric wonder.
My wife christened our Leica D-Lux 7s as "Leica Babies." Great camera, small, light, unobtrusive, shoots RAW, wonderful photo quality. My go-to when we travel!
