Macro Mondays - Pareidolia
Happy Macro Monday everyone.
This bandit only has 2 eyes and nose poking through his disguise ... keep a watch on your valuables, as he may try and steal them :))
This is a small buckle on a shoe.
The Hummingbird is the joyful messenger, carrying
messages between the human world and the spirit world.
The Hummingbird is a symbol of health. When a Hummingbird
appears, comfort and healing will soon follow. The Hummingbird
symbolizes the fragility of nature and all living things.
------Alvin Adkins, Haida Artist
I bought these Haida carved silver earrings on a trip to Haida Gwaii last year. It was not Alvin Adkins who carved them but another Haida artist but I felt Adkins' writings were a good explanation of the symbology. Haida Gwaii (which means islands of the Haida people) is an archipelago off the coast of North-western British Columbia and is surely one of the most beautiful and magical places you can find anywhere in the world. These earrings are a very special reminder to me of a memorable trip. I marked the location where I bought them on the map if anyone wants to know where Haida Gwaii is located. HMM!
MacroMondays#Key
A few years ago when we were cleaning out the basement, we found these keys that belonged to my father. We threw away a lot of old things, but I kept these keys and after we pained the walls, I returned them to the same place. That is the reason why they are wrapped in spider webs. The keys are 4 cm long.

SUBJECT: AN ORANGE
(just a little over 2 1/2" horizontally, total)
This is an antique handkerchief given to me by my great grandmother. It is an outstanding example of fine and tiny embroidery and tatting (the tatting did not make it into the photo.)
Happy Macro Monday!
Beef cubes for the Macro Mondays theme 'In a Row'.
Now here's a thought, how can they be called cubes, they're not square 🤔.
