The sun came out for 5 minutes today and I grabbed my camera and raced into the garden. I spied this little ladybird on one of my African Daisies and managed a few shots before the sun disappeared again. This is taken with my 28-70 mm lens and the 36 mm macro extension tube. This is not cropped at all, just lightened a little in photoshop.
I love this color Lantana, it is called Radiation! A great name for this plant! TGIF I did not tweek the color!
It's not great, but not bad for a first attempt. If anyone has any tips for oil and water photography, I would be very appreciative.
Captured this image of a flowering ground cover bush, these little flowers a approximately 1/8th of an inch in diameter. Maybe someone out there in Flickr World can I.D. this plant. ?
Hope Y'all like it. Lol: Gasssman.

I have folded and glued tiny pieces of white paper in an effort to create a model like image of the Sydney Opera House. I used a black background and off camera flash to create light and shade, and the colour and grain finish was added in Lightroom.
Took some images this morning of our Amaryllis flower, and was trying different techniques of light and post processing. Hope Y'all love it as much as we do.

Sunflower Season - unfortunately, it’s not a great season for sunflowers in Australia, due to the ongoing drought. Still, there are some for sale here and there. I grabbed a bunch at the local supermarket.
Another awesome image of a Trumpet flower, got the camera lens inside of this large Trumpet Bloom. The texture of the the petals are extraordinary, with a added bonus with the bee collecting pollen. Hope Y'all like this awesome image. Lol: Gaston. !!!

WAHHHHH this has been the worst week for my attacks and I haven't had them this bad in ages.
I went to the hairdresser on Wednesday, the ONLY day this week that I have actually been awake for a whole day, took a whole heap of photos and its taken three days to process them just CANNOT keep awake.
I have a funky new hair do and no photo of it, but I will get around to doing one.
SO, in the light of this being a rotten week for me and having no time to visit my lovely Flickr Friends, I thought the quote from Georgia was appropriate.
OH, almost forgot got HEAPS of pinkalicious to post and you can ALL stop rolling your eyes LOL

This is a type of tachnid fly that lays its eggs on unsuspecting hosts like a beetle and other bugs that like to eat what is in our gardens. It really doesn't bother humans. The adults feed on nectar much like a bee.
