Macro Mondays -- theme "Handle"
This is the handle from a glass cream jug, part of a sugar bowl/creamer set that belonged to my mother. The latter part makes it very precious to me. :-)

A honey bee approaching Metrosideros flower. The whole bush was humming with activity, a real favourite for these exotic bees.
