After my previous post, it sparked my macro mania in my blood stream again. This is my first macro in 2011, after I stop shooting for more than a year. I hope I still maintain the standard.

Just playing around with my Focusing rail after work this morning. Time to get some sleep.

The frozen peas in the saucepan ready to cook.

It was a very tasty lunch. :O)

This flower really attracts the butterflies. In flemish (dutch) it is known as the Flinders Boom or Butterfly tree

What ye have been ye still shall be, When we are dust the dust among, O yellow flowers!

- Austin Dobson (English Author 1912 - 1963)

I used to use this as a teaching aid. He now sits on the computer desk.

Saw this on my walk yesterday morning. Please view on black.

Stayed up late last night flipping lenses around to make ghetto macros. This is a quarter, in case you've never seen one. And yes it was being used as a sewer man-hole cover... Check it out large.

I allowed the ink to mix into the water and waited for it to stop turning as much as possible before adding a second ink drop.

Was turning this in different directions before I hit on this angle.

ALMOST - closest I've come so far to a flower reflected in a droplet - went back for another chance but the wind was blowing by then so no dice - next time!!

Was looking through my old LPs and chose the topic for today's macro. The changes in the way I listen to music.

I was looking round the garden before it started raining and this landed on my sleeve. Wasn't sure if taking a photo would work as although I could see the bee. I couldn't see what was on the camera screen!

It was so lovely today that I could have sat and made a daisy chain in the sun.
