With the surprise of summer, I decided to try my hand at macro today. It's been a while, but even so, it's still worth the while. The morning started off with clear-blue skies and sunshine. The wind and clouds ended up returning in the afternoon, however.

Commonly known as Coatbuttons, these grow as weeds, often seen by roadsides but extremely small. Photograph taken with a 1970s 50mm Nikon enlarger lens in reverse mount.
