dies ist ein winziges stückchen heissleim. im letzten moment..bevor ich es in den abfall befördern wollte, realisierte ich das potential für ein abstraktes makro foto.
this is a tiny piece of hot glue. at the last moment..before i was going to throw it in the trash, i realized the potential for an abstract macro photo.
... with these Rocher you're really spoiling us!
After enjoying a pyramid of gold-wrapped hazelnut chocolates served to me on a silver platter by my butler at my residence*, for today's Macro Mondays' theme `Ribbon', I took this shot of the gold-embossed green ribbon that had been wrapped around the presentation box.
I can't think of Ferrero Rocher without thinking of the tagline `Monsieur, with these Rocher you're really spoiling us!' from the 1990s advert that seemed embarrassingly cheesy even for its time.

'No matter how many stars are, it has taken billions of nights to cover the sky as storm does in a single moment''
-Taban Thomas Onek-
I admire all the tog's who can do the swirly, stormy star photography and take the time to put all the effort into theirself at night and I hope they can take a nap. ;-)
Unfortunately I can't do this, but I really like to look at it. That's why I thought about how I can make my own little star storm ...
I hope you like it!
Thanks for taking the time and looking at my photo, I really appreciate it.
~ Happy Floral Thursday, all ~
Was feeling creative. I looped the wire on my earphones to form the heart shape. I used a flash and a reflector to reduce the shadows. :)

For a long time it had been quiet around here again, because I had one or the other major construction site such as moving, change of job etc.. Now that some structure has arrived in my everyday life, it is long overdue to return to Flickr! Those of you who have known me for a while know that I have always enjoyed the exchange with you and I would like to continue this in the near future. :) Of course, I was not idle in the meantime and have a lot of material in my luggage again - look forward to it. :) In this sense: Eyes open, here I come! :P
As long as they're blooming -- and it's now December 13 -- I'm obsessed with interpreting them. This is a true white rose -- but now in noirish monochrome for the Shock of the New BW-Monochrome challenge.

Theme: 'Yellow on White' for 'Smile on Saturday'
Taken with my new Lensbaby Twist 60mm
I folded up the white towels hanging on the washing line, placed a beautiful yellow flower among the folded towels and hopefully caught some 'twisty' bokeh too from my new Lensbaby 60mm as the yellow and green leaves were nearly in full bloom in the garden, have a great smiley Saturday :) ~ KissThePixel2019

Focus stacking – a new era
It turns out that the FL-LM3 lamp can be used for focus stacking, which in the Olympus system is added as an accessory to the E-M1 Mark II. Basically, this lamp lies unused by all photographers who want to have "real" large reportage lamps.
I have been running a project called "macro photography" for some time now and I am trying to understand what is most important in it. In this first photo I want to prove that you don't have to buy a large reporter lamp, the FL-LM3 lamp with a low guide number (9 m) is enough. The first important lesson is to get as much detail as possible with as few shadows as possible in macro photography. The key is soft light, which depends on the reflecting surface (reflector) and on the gain, direction and distance of the flash in relation to the size of the photographed object. The larger the surface of the reflector in relation to the size of the photographed object, the softer the incident light. You should also make sure that it falls from different directions in order to "destroy" the shadows with the light falling from a different direction - this can be achieved with the shape of an ew reflector - using lower backlight from a diffuser.
I called my starting macro setup "Akocot Diffusor 0.0" (with a 12-40 lens) - the photos below show it. The reflector and reflector are a cosmetics bottle cut out for the FL-LM3 lamp. I specifically used a low sensitivity of ISO 64 and a large aperture of f10.0 and the maximum flash of the lamp (I also did equally good tests for ISO 200, f/10 and 1/32 of the lamp power), the photo is in JPG format, a file created directly in the camera body with 15 photos.
I am currently working on a diffuser that will ultimately work with the M.Zuiko 60 mm ED f/2.8 lens + Raynox DCR-250 + FL-LM3 lamp - I think I will show the effects of such a combination soon. The diffuser being developed will be called "AKocot Diffusor 1.0" and is dedicated to the body + lens + lamp system - it contains all the best solutions used in diffusers such as Cygnustech Diffusor, AK Diffusor, Pope Shield, Radiant and many other DIY.
I plan to continue and develop this project in the coming months, when there are few good weather days for landscape sessions. I think it's a good idea .
