In these dark and scary, uncertain times, it helps me to focus on the ways in which we are all connected, the ways in which we are all similar. Whatever differences that may exist, these are superficial. Underneath, we are all made of the same stuff, with the same desires, the same insecurities, the same hopes for our children and for the future. We want them to have a better world than the one we have known and more opportunities for the future.
