Butterfly in Macro capture

See the look of anxiety on teddies face. I'm guessing he is somewhat apprehensive about sitting on the back of a horse. A macro capture of a miniature rocking horse ornament that sits on a corner shelf in our lounge.

Вряд ли он знаком с пауками...у таких как он, подобные знакомства случаются лишь раз в жизни...паук, что поджидает добычу - это Паук-оса (Argiope bruennichi). Чуть позже опубликую крупное его фото, сразу станет понятно, почему его осой называют:)

Although the park was officially closed, I took a walk along the bottom trail to discover a few inch high plants already fully green in bud, or already in bloom...once macro captured, the display a beauty similar to those at a larger scale we are familiar with.

Стрекоза дозорщик-император или дозорщик-повелитель (лат. Anax imperator) относится к семейству Коромысловые (лат. Aeshnidae). Можно сказать, что это самая крупная стрекоза, обитающая в России, размах крыльев около 11 см, длина тела порядка 8 см. За все лето видел ее только пару раз, нормально сфотографировать так и не получилось. Стрекоза постоянно кружила над водой и практически не садилась на берегу...короче, так и не подобрался я к ней близко. Просто фото, без претензий на какую-либо художественность:)
