Taken handheld (continuous shooting). Merged 35 frames. Software: Focus Stacker for Mac.

Notice the sky and the tiny pieces of dirt in the water drop.

A previously un-posted shot from earlier this year. Not sure why I didn't use it - I like the colours.

A macro shot with a telephoto lens.

A macro taken a couple of days ago at The Hunter Botanic Gardens (Heatherbrae, NSW; Australia).

Visited the gardens with good friend and fellow flickr photographer Joe Micallef for a macro session.

We'd hoped that there would be lots of flowers and bugs around at this time of year; but struggled to find much that stood out.

I did spot this tiny frog (the only one for the day!) resting in the sunlight on an agapanthus leaf - hope you like it!!

An exhausted bee feeding on sugar water I put out for him. He flew away a very happy chap a few moments later.
