Just a little macro shot I took the other day which I like, I just love deep colours especially Velvety red which this remind me off. Don't ask me what it is! It is just the tip of a branch growing in my garden that I just snapped as the colour just stood out in the sun. Hope somebody else can see what I see in this picture...

Don’t be surprised if your drool really coming out trickling when you are in the middle of shooting dragonfly. You have to exercise furtive and stealthy moves as not to scare her away. Every single step taken while approaching the subject is a well-calculated pace.
In so doing, it requires heavy concentrations and no surprise if you are totally absorbed into it and drooled.
I was that close to drooling during the height of it but upon realizing it, I quickly sucked right up. Smile!
This is my first shot ever on dragonfly. Maybe that’s the reason I got too excited. My excitement got carried away even the time when I edit the image in the Photoshop. I tend to go a bit overboard with the color saturation but I think it’s no sin doing it because it has given her better form.
Walking down a side road with a good solid hedgerow I noticed these raindrops balancing on the leaves.
The light was perfect, but I had to be careful not to knock the plant and loose the raindrops.
Better viewed large and thank you for your favourites. :O)

Not sure what the name of these are, even though I planted them - the blooms are about an inch wide. The light was just right for a photo though, and that interesting reddish hue that is in the background? That's Ripley (my dog!) She must have wanted to be in this photo too. I figured it was a toss, but on review quite liked the color in there.
Too much IR recently, don't want to over do it, so heres some extreme macro tomfoolery!
It was a bit dark when I took this, so I had to use a higher iso, which has left it a bit noisy. Still, mustn't grumble.
Just grabbed the Sigma 180mm Macro and went on a hike. Love slowing down and finding the small things and now actually being able to photograph them.
Nun fangen auch die Kornblumen an zu blühen. in unmittelbarer Nähe des Wurmloches. Hoffentlich geht das gut und das Wurmloch verschlingt nicht Alles.

It's a Uniqlo Airism Mesh undershirt, freshly laundered and lit by full afternoon sunlight.
The lens is a Tamron 70-300 on a Sigma 1.4x teleconverter. The exposure and focus are manual. The shot is handheld, which is why the shutter speed is so high.
I'm impressed with the sharpness of the combination of the Tamron and the Sigma. Look at the fibers at the top where the shirt folds over! Not bad for a rather cheap stack of glass.
