I had a ten day old bunch of tulips which were ready to be thrown out but before I did so I took a few photos of them. Some of them looked beautiful in their decrepitude, including this yellow one.
This color sure looks better on this screen than it does on me :-}}}
Water didn't stick. Oil and water didn't stick (not sure why I thought THAT would work). Have some magnesium oil spray. That stuck. Not sure what it's doing to the lipstick but, hey, it's not my color anyway... I only bought it for this shoot :)
Happy Macro Monday!!
"Think of all the beauty still left around you and be happy." - Anne Frank. There was a tree that she could catch a glimpse of from an attic window in the place where they were in hiding. She managed to find beauty while immersed in the depths of ugliness. This is a leaf from a huge Water Oak that is in our yard. It's not the same kind of tree as that which Anne viewed but I think she would still see the beauty.

this time I changed my main type of image, I saw this little (about 4mm) bug in a red flower in my backyard and tried to capture it. So I increased the ISO ratings to keep the hand held and just try !
I like the vibrant colours of the bug against the deep red flower

I really appreciate your comments and faves. I'm not a hoarder of contacts, but enjoy real-life, honest people. You are much more likely to get my comments and faves in return if you fit the latter description. Just sayin. :oD

This week's theme for Macro Mondays is "Intended Contact"... and there is definitely intended contact when it comes to a predator and its prey! In this photo a Green Jumping Spider has captured and killed a Soldier Fly more than twice its size.
