I'm using these to connect each piece of my dress because they offer some additional flexibility, and they look very interesting. Plus, it's been relaxing to make the knots and nice to know that my workmanship has been a part of nearly every aspect of the piece.

Os nós básicos são o nó duplo e o nó torcido, que utiilizei neste trabalho, mas existem mais, ou derivações destes. A palavra Macramé significa nó e a sua origem vem provávelmente do árabe migramah, que significa franja ornamental.

This was with scraps of cording. It was a pattern that I had for books with one layer but I added several other layers and some rings to hold razors in the shower. The pockets hold shampoos and stuff like that.
