There is the FO, handle, cord and linen in place, ready to take out on our first oficial walk toghether :). I am really considering writting down the pattern for this one! It was fun to crochet, worked up very quickly - much quicker than I ever expected. The linen was not so fun to sew, 'cause I don't have a sewing machine here (must buy one pretty soon), so it's boring and SLOW when done by hand, not to mention numerous errors I've made in the process and had to redo several times... arrrgh! But I'm trully happy with the bag, it's worth all the effort.
Or “Touché Macramé” if you prefer. I gave it this title because to me the look of the ‘fabric’ reminds me of macrame, and the two sides are barely touching in the middle - just a little kiss.

this belt will fit up to a 30-inch waist.
i wanted to make a belt that used no metal buckles. this double-loop fastener is a continuation of the same cord used to knot the belt. a total of about 117-feet of cord was used for this belt..
the 8-point star knot is secured to a circular piece of coconut shell. the beads are also coconut shell.
Woosang and Day-zee:
As promised, here are the pictures of my “Elly Echidna” from Macramé Australian Animals & Flowers. (http://www.bookcrossing.com/journal/3746877)
I plan to add some hair/quills to hide the fact he doesn’t have any legs. How pathetic, eh? Well, I tried. I’ll post another picture when his hair/quills have been added.
More pictures: This time with quills.
