Macrame Barrette
made from 1mm waxed cotton cord. excellent durability
colors ~ pink , white , light pink , purple
length ~ pattern measures approx 3 inches , total length approx 3 inches
width ~ approx. 1 1/4 inches
A unique macramé necklace from my winter collection with black wax thread (1mm)
and one vintage gold button . I made 3987 knots to complete it. I spray painted with gold color. This pattern of macrame is my design so it's unique and it's a trade mark for Artemis Art Handmade Collection.
Made with knottings of a multi-colored thread around a gun-metal colored circular earrings, it has the most amazing color combination that is unique to each pair.
This is a part of my macrame earrings series, which also has a series of 3 hoops necklaces that can be worn as a set. Macrame, it's complexity and delicate beauty, is the inspiration for this series of contemporary jewelry that you can wear with everyday outfits, but extraordinary in itself.
This earring is 1.7 inches in diameter.

Wat vond ik macramé vroeger leuk. Maar verder dan een onafgemaakte plantenhanger kwam ik niet. Nu zie ik allerlei leuke armbanden. En een sneeuwvlok die ik wil proberen! Stap 1: een plankje en een spijker. Piepschuim of karton met een speld kan ook. :)
