This is House of Johnson located in Macon, Georgia. Well, one could wonder about the name and the scissors shown on the window.
This is the Macon Auditorium located in Macon, Georgia. The auditorium was built in 1925 and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It is surrounded on three sides by limestone Doric columns. The building is capped by one of the largest copper domes in the world.

Another version of the child statue, at Rose Hill Cemetery, in Macon GA, that inspired the Allman Bros. song.
These boulders rise sharply out of the floodplain as you follow the river trail to Brender Experimental Forest. Although it's hard to get a sense of scale, I'd say they stand between 25 and 35 feet and line the ridge for roughly 1/6 of a mile. The entire trail is rocky, but these dwarf even the large boulders that line the shoals of Falling Creek.

Already setting up to be a blistering hot day in Macon, Georgia.
People comment on "cold as a mausoleum" ... I never thought I'd be walking around inside a hot one. This one was hot. Notice that the door up front is, thankfully, propped open (not by me).
I wanted a bit of a larger perspective on this chapel than just a view of each columbarium (look carefully, they're at the back of the photo).
The pew up at the very front is noticeably larger and newer than its brothers.
I haven't taken any pictures of the wall vaults, that had to become a project for another day.
Rose Hill Cemetery, Macon,GA. I love this shot. The finger is supposed to be pointing to heaven (just in case you forgot which way to go?), but as it's been knocked over it's just pointing toward the interstate...and we all know that certainly isn't heaven.

Our contractors found this bottle under the floor in our basement. I think it's was made in Macon in the1950's because it doesn't have the period and it does have the r with a dot in it.
