Ever thought of getting you a healthy multigrain bread with a slice of cheese for breakfast? If not...you might need to consider that.

Cheese is packed with nutrition and can serve as a healthy addition to just about any meal. It's packed with protein, fat, and calcium as well as other essential vitamins.

If you are not allergic to milk protein, enjoying cheese every day is probably fine—and may offer potential health benefits when eaten in moderation.

In Austria, Belgium, the Czech Republic, Germany, the Netherlands, and Poland, breakfast changes once again. Prepare for cold meats and cheeses, loads of warm, freshly baked bread, and an assortment of preserves and jams.

Jorge Luis Borges: "The Garden of Forking Paths" (1941) presents the idea of forking paths through networks of time, none of which is the same, all of which are equal. Borges uses the recurring image of "a labyrinth that folds back upon itself in infinite regression" so we "become aware of all the possible choices we might make".

Macromondays theme: "Monochrome". Croped, so this time no SOOC.

#33.macro for 52 weeks: The 2015 Edition

|

mpg-2015

Still Life is the topic for Macro Mondays. I tried several setups, using different miscellaneous objects I found around the house and yard, and finally settled on this rock, leaf and rotted wood grouping. The leaf is 1¼ inches long, so this obviously can't be called a macro, but when I tried cropping in tighter, I felt I lost too much composition-wise, so I left it as a close-up.
