Wild macaque monkey eating junk food (Java Island, Indonesia)
Tentatively identified as Macaca fascicularis.
Locals often feed them junk food, and wild monkeys also manage to snatch food from people's bags.
Monkeys found out that the "good" stuff is inside the plastic bag, and they throw away the wrapping everywhere, causing even more plastic trash in the landscape.
Please, people, feed monkeys fruits, not human junkfood!

This is a shot of the Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary. It is in the middle of charming Ubud on the island of Bali. The area consists of a walking path and several Hindu temples and of course the monkeys. What a wonderful place to spend time. I didn't want to leave.
In the area, surrounding the sanctuary, are shops and restaurants in the unbelievable village of Ubud.
