Image of Globular Cluster M13 in Hercules. It orbits our galaxy at a distance of 25000 light years & packs 300,000 stars into a 145 light year diameter. The smudge to the left of M13 is 11.7 magnitude spiral galaxy NGC 6207 located much further away at 30 million light years. 30 x 1 minute subs @ ISO1600 taken with Canon EOS1100d, SW Ed80 refractor, SW EQ3pro.
