Der Kugelsternhaufen M13 im Sternbild Herkules. Unten links ist noch die Spiral-Galaxie NGC6207 mit 12.23 mag Helligkeit sichtbar.

About 5 min of exposure time. This is an incredible object to look at through a long focal length telescope.

Photo taken using a Nikon D40 attached to Skywatcher ED80 refractor. Exposure is of 14min 12s. Composite image, no dark frames. No autoguiding was used during the taking of the images. Processing was done using DeepSky Stacker and GIMP.

M13 The Great (or Hercules) Globular Cluster - 24th April 2020

 

15 x 2min subs with just darks this time.

 

M13 was the first DSO I imaged in May last year with an old Canon 350D mounted to my SW 150PDS on an EQ3-2 mount.

 

This image, as with most of the others here, was taken with my William Optics Zenithstar Z73 Mk2, Altair 183c v2 (fan cooled) OSC camera mounted on my HEQ5 Pro with Rowan belt mod.

The globular cluster in Hercules. First light with Hutech Canon T1i, IDAS-LPS, 25- 4 min subs. From backyard with Celestron 8 @6.3. and a bright near full moon.
