Bullfinch (m)
Love is in the air at the RSBP nature reserve, Carsington Water. Quite a few pairs of these beautiful birds flew in, such a treat to see them.
Carsington Water is a reservoir operated by Severn Trent Water in Derbyshire, England. The reservoir takes water from the River Derwent at Ambergate during winter months, pumping up to the reservoir by 10.5-kilometre long tunnels and aqueduct.
It's a 12 km walk around the reservoir.

The final of the set of three! This is actually the one that started the series, and is still my fave. Something about a mech holding giant gripper arms is super fun. Replicating the minifig's power arms was a nice challenge as well, with Dots bracelets coming to the rescue for the flexible cabling(?) Enjoy :)

Although the Ladybug is a compact design, it is equipped with powerful sensor array, ordinary and FTL engines, cargo ramp and utility vehicle. In the interior you find facilities for long travels.
I always wanted a "personal" spaceship with proper equipment and a sleek shape, that would take care of its crew on long missions. I had thad brick-built M_Tron logo on my table for some time and finally, this is where it ended. The U.F.O. panels pretty much dictate the shape and also Ebon Hawk (SW:KotOR) was on my mind when I was drawing the sketches.
Mushrooms do grow better in the dark .... just look at these little beauties!!

This male tree bumble bee was hanging around a nest that is somewhere in the middle of the garden Japanese anemone patch. Unlike the specimen posted previously he has managed to keep his hair on. He is furrier than the workers and has some brown hairs an his abdomen whereas they are all black.

Recently, I asked my friend to think of two firearms at random.
He chose the M16 and the Barrett M-98 (which I find an interesting coincidence, given it's the only Barrett preset in PMG, and most people I know would likely mention the M-82/M-107).
I promptly combined the two weapons. The result can be seen above.
