Spotted on a little wedelia daisy - I'm pretty sure this is the smallest lynx I've ever shot. Then, on the computer screen, I see that there's even a much smaller critter in the frame...
Found at Sonoita Creek State Natural Area in far southern Arizona. Santa Cruz County, Arizona, USA.
I think this is probably Peucetia viridans - Green Lynx. Prey is some sort of hemipteran. Gotta love the daring little freeloader flies, very close to fangs!

Hieroglyph Fairy Lynx Spider (Hamadruas hierglyphica), female guarding newly hatched spiderlings on a suspended leaf. Sarawak, Malaysia (Borneo).
Lynx Spiders are hunting spiders that spend their lives on plants, flowers and shrubs. Nimble runners and jumpers, they rely on their keen eyesight to stalk, chase or ambush prey. Six of their eight eyes are arranged in a hexagon-like pattern, a characteristic that identifies them as members of the family Oxyopidae. They also have spiny legs.
With the direction Twitter is heading, everyone is looking for alternatives. Mastadon is one of the popular choices. An entomologist setup this server so hopefully it is a good choice for me. Different servers connect, but an Ento server may be a head start for finding new and old friends. I really love the interaction with entomologists and arachnologists on Twitter during #Arachtober

This is with CJ Diffuser V2. New diffusion medium and only need one panel now to still produce really nice light and be super efficient at diffusing the flash.
He has 2 missing legs
The lens was set to the max 2:1 setting along with the 2x teleconverter in place. If you see the settings that is some pretty impressive diffusion me thinks.

First spider of the year for me. Rear view, unfortunately. A tiny one, captured on a daisy stem, closest focus...
This is a small Green Lynx Spider (Peucetia, Oxyopidae) traveling along a stem of native Telegraph Weed (Heterotheca grandiflora, Asteraceae). This might be the same spider as I showed a week ago in this photo - at least I found it in the same group of plants. If it is the same, it's been growing! My [Next] photo is another shot of the same spider taken an hour later as I came back on my walk. Arachtober 21. (San Marcos Pass, 21 October 2017)

They are sometimes confused with fly spiders because their habits and behavior are somewhat similar.
In the English-speaking world, lynx spider are called jumping spider, including fly spiders.
However, this both are classified into another department.
The obvious difference is the eye is arranged in the circle shape, and it seems to be lined up in four rows in the bird Spider Department although the fourth eye is especially large front in the fly spider division in the array of eyes, and is arranged in three rows in the whole.
