Ein Mann trifft auf eine neue, ungewohnte Situation, die von ihm Überraschendes fordert: Die Suche nach neuen Ausdrucksmöglichkeiten. Indem er beginnt mit den Materialien zu spielen, entdeckt er nach und nach die ihm zur Verfügung stehende, unbegrenzte Freiheit. Die Spuren, die er auf der Leinwand hinterlässt, gewinnen am Ende seines Farbenspiels, als er sich zur Betrachtung und Reflexion setzt, eine neue Bedeutung: In diesem grossartigen Moment erwacht in ihm eine andere Sicht seiner Vergangenheit, Gegenwart und Zukunft.

Batanes, the smallest province of the Philippines, lies at the northernmost tip of the country about 190 kilometers south of Taiwan. Out of the 10 islands included in the Batanes group of islands, only 3 are inhabited, Batan, Sabtang and Itbayat respectively. The smaller islets are Dequey, Siayan, Mabudis, Ibuhos, Diogo, North Island, and Y'ami. Because of its cool and windy weather, Batanes is also referred to as the Home of the Winds. It is also the place where the Pacific Ocean meets the South China Sea so the water current is usually rough.
Almost one-half of Batanes are hills and mountains. Batan Island is generally mountainous on the north and southeast. It has a basin in the interior. Itbayat Island have slopes gradually to the west, being mountainous and hilly along its northern, eastern coast. As for Sabtang, mountains cover the central part making the island slope outward to the coast.

Stories find always their Origin in our heads, coined/shaped through the fascination of the lay, the pictures and the literature.
Also this picture found the way by the literature from Hesse, to the love for Buddhismus and the inspiration from the photographies of the Gregory Colbert.

Geschichten finden immer ihren Urpsrung in unseren Köfen, geprägt durch die Faszination des weltlichen, der Bilder und der Literatur...
Auch dieses Bild fand den Weg durch die Literatur des Hesse, der Liebe zum Buddhismus und den einfühlsamen Fotografien des Gregory Colberts.
