Location L'Arc en Ciel
The Sanctuary of Saint Anthony the Abbot and Saint Anthony of Padua of Urkiola is a Catholic temple located in the hill and port of Urkiola, in the Biscayan municipality of Abadiño, in the Basque Country, Spain. It is unknown exactly how old the Sanctuary is, but according to some documents, it could have been between the 8th and 11th centuries, making it one of the oldest of the region. It is located at the heart of the Urkiola Natural Park, next to one of the historical routes linking the Cantabrian coast with the Castilian plateau and surrounded by a lush nature in which the limestone walls of the mountains of Durangaldea stand out as a background.

Vegetazione sulle pareti rocciose a Farindola.
La foto è stata scattata nella Valle d'Agri, nei pressi della cascata del Vitello d'Oro.
Nel territorio di Farindola nella Valle d'Agri è situata la cascata del Vitello d'Oro, spettacolare cascata alta 28 metri sorgente tra le più importanti del versante sud del gruppo del Gran Sasso. La leggenda narra che fin dalla notte dei tempi, ad alcune donne intente ad attingere acqua con una conca, nei pressi della cascata, all'alba del giorno di S. Giovanni, apparve una piccola vitella di color giallo oro, da cui è stato preso il nome dato al salto d'acqua. Da notare il contrasto tra i versanti rocciosi con scarsa vegetazione e la conca che è ricoperta di alberi verdeggianti cresciuti spontaneamente.
