I know, I know, it has been forever since I have posted! Never meant to take so long, and there is no real explanation for it, other than to say my head was not in the right place to post.

I missed it, but the longer I went the more difficult it became to try and jump back in. So that is what I am doing now, I needed a break, life outside of Flickr needed my attention, deserved it.

Anyway, I miss everyone terribly, will be around catching up, and hope to be posting more often than every six months! :-))

Thanks for all the well wishes and the notes and emails, asking about me!

From Croatia/Slovenia it was off to India for 3+ weeks for meetings. Took the opportunity over the weekend and during a few breaks to head to one of my favorite places - Old Delhi to soak up the energy and snap some portraits. Pictured here workers take a break from hauling heavy loads of spices for some tea. This was all pre COVID19 so the streets were bustling. I left before the lock downs but suspect Old Delhi tells a different story today.

Decided to take extra long lunchbreak today and had a walk up on Mösseberg. My hometown Falköping is down there and Ålleberg in the background. It is for sure magically beautiful right now. This is a panoramashot made of 5 photos from my 70-200 =)

Simple shot of a workman having a break at lunchtime. Spotted whilst out for a midday wander.

I managed ten glorious minutes in our herb garden at work today, catching some much needed sunshine. I had never really stopped to notice the subtle and delicate shades of green on this rosemary plant before. A lunchbreak well spent!

On the fifth day of our this year's Icelandic exploration we passed this beautiful river and had a long break and photo session there. What a wonderful spot it was with everything one could wish for a picnic in the wild :)

Hey boys and girls...;)

In my lunchbreak I could do some long exposures at the Rhine. One thing I really have to say about long exposure. You need time. So I felt more and more like a fisherman, waiting for the big fish. In the meantime you can read the newspaper, dream about the weekend, clean the bridge or you could also iron some laundry, change the winter tires of the car or you could finally make the tax return. Of course, it would be even more exciting to kiss a girl or a boy. Ahhh... for me a girl please. I think we should not exaggerate, so let‘s start with a princess. The white horses are scratching a bit. They want home. And indeed, it‘s starting to snow and I‘m holding this princess in my arms. I almost felt this exciting and overwhelming kiss, when suddenly the camera clicks and I woke up. Standing just like my tripod in the middle of the Rhine. I think I will probably have to ride home in my wet trousers. Really, I have to get those daydreams under control. On the other hand, they are so beautiful and you feel like 15 years old while reading, haha... ;)))

Have a nice Monday my friends. I have to go on with my work in the office of my palace...;)

We had lots of snow overnight and the forecast was for a gloomy day. Just what yours truly was wishing for! Took my camera to work, vowed not to spend my lunchbreak at my desk working, but to head out and take a few captures. Hardly anybody outside, since the sky promised the next bout of snowfall.

Thank you for taking the time to stop by & having a look. Have a great weekend.

thank you, Anne, my friend, for being you, for caring, for sharing ... such a smile I received when I reached into my mailbox and saw your words arrived here all the way from The Netherlands :D! *HUGS*

this is not my mailbox, this is on an old metal building nearto where I work, seen on my lunchbreak walk

You never know who will show up for lunch a friend and I took a break for lunch on an empty campsite and though we thought we were alone it wasn't the case. These two ladies and a couple other friends were on the other side of the tree resting midday.

Small copper in the heather......I was so excitited to see this one while enjoying some coffee and a sandwich in the shade of a tree. And this one acted like a real model....just sitting there being pretty and then fly away but coming back seconds later. I was having so much fun.....even when I realised (again) Iforgot to activate the stabilasor on the macrolens. Still learning :-)
